Ray Lie has managed the day-to-day operations of F.S. Key Elementary School's After School Learning Program since 2003, and currently serves as the program's Lead Teacher as well. He previously served SNBC as its AmeriCorps Technology Instructor, teaching basic computer skills to elementary school students and older adults.

Prior to joining SNBC, Ray worked as a content editor for myteam.com (renamed active.com), an online leader in youth sports instruction and data management. Ray is a graduate of UC Irvine where he competed for four seasons on the track and field team and was the sports editor of the college newspaper. In 2006, he earned his California Teaching Credential in Secondary Education. Ray's interests include rapping, playing UNO and rooting for the Golden State Warriors.
