SNBC is inviting the neighborhood to Stand With Us!

Lights On Afterschool is a national day of celebration about the importance of afterschool programs.

We are inviting YOU to stand with over 500 children, parents and community residents from 4:30-5:00 pm along the sidewalks of Sunset Boulevard! Rally with supporters of the Sunset's Afterschool Programs.

Ages 16+ welcome – No specific fitness level is required. This class will emphasize restorative yoga, which includes breathing and relaxation techniques.

Some yoga mats are available. Participants are welcome to bring their own yoga mats and/or a blanket or towel. All participants should wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring water.

Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center is offering a free Conversational English Class for Parents. See flyer (pdf).

This is an 8-week course. Childcare provided for children over 4 years old.

Class starts on 10/7, ends on 11/25.
