"Before I was in [the Francis Scott Key After School Learning Program] I just went home after school and did my homework. Then I watched T.V. and spent the rest of my afternoon bored. After I got into the program in the fourth grade, I got lots of help on my homework and had a lot of fun."
- Lucy Nguyen, FSK afterschool program alumna
The After School Learning Program provides students who are in need of academic assistance, a safe place to explore academics and experience enrichment outside of the regular school day.
